Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work or Social / Health Science related disciplines; |
|
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; preferably including Putonghua; |
|
(c) |
Strong commitment to serve the youth and with experience in managing less academically-inclined students; |
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies; and |
|
(e) |
Experiences in managing projects / student activities with play-related concepts and different types of play (e.g. table-top games, outdoor play) would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English. |
|
(3) |
The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and / or different sites to suit the council’s operational needs. |
|
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
