Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
|
(d) |
A good team player with a proactive attitude; and |
|
(e) |
Familiarity in using Sabre Agency Workspace will be an advantage. |

Notes: |

(1) |
Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of “Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer” at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
The initial posting is in IVE (Tsing Yi). The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs. |
