Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To answer enquiries; |
|
(b) |
To handle telephone calls; |
|
(c) |
To distribute class registers and check that they have been returned; |
|
(d) |
To issue stationery and keep records of audio-visual equipment lent out to Part-time Lecturers; |
|
(e) |
To receive incoming correspondences; |
|
(f) |
To assist in supervising the work of Part-time Evening Attendants; |
|
(g) |
To assist in managing the General Office of evening classes; |
|
(h) |
To ensure that the communal areas and rooms used by staff and students in evening classes are properly cleaned and closed; and |
|
(i) |
To perform other duties as assigned by the campus management. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR |
|
|
(iii) |
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Maths Plus / Project Yi Jin; OR |
|
|
(iv) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR |
|
|
(v) |
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |

(b) |
Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; |
|
(c) |
Good command of English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua; |
|
(d) |
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; |
|
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; |
|
(f) |
Good work attitude and be customer-oriented; and |
|
(g) |
With solid experience, knowledge and familiarity with the campus operation (especially in the evening session) is highly preferred. |

|
The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours or shifts and perform duties on Saturdays or Sundays as necessary. |
