Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To organise, coordinate and implement the projects / activities of the Discipline; |
|
(b) |
To provide project training and workshops, as well as debriefing and coaching to students; |
|
(c) |
To maintain and strengthen networking with relevant stakeholders; |
|
(d) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(e) |
To prepare project proposals and progress reports; and |
|
(f) |
To promote events / projects and other publicity activities of the Discipline and the Council. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, Project Management or Communication or relevant discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant experience in the field of project management, event planning and marketing and/or in organising experiential learning programmes / communication or presentation training; |
|
(c) |
Experience in mentoring / teaching soft skills will be an advantage; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese and good facilitation, coaching and problem-solving skills; and |
|
(e) |
Strong initiative, mature, confident and a good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure. |

Notes: |

(1) |
The post is in the rank of Lecturer. |
|
(2) |
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of “Term / Temporary Assistant Project Officer” at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(3) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(4) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(5) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in different locations and/ or outside normal office hours. |
