Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct courses related to Workplace English; |
|
(b) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(d) |
To develop course curriculum and teaching materials; |
|
(e) |
To participate in projects and functions; and |
|
(f) |
To coordinate language enhancement activities. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
A recognised degree in English Language, English Literature, Linguistics (English), Education (English), English Communication, Translation or equivalent; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
A recognised degree in a non-relevant field, AND a relevant English teaching qualification, such as Post-graduate Certificate / Diploma in Education (Majoring in English); or Teaching English as a Second Language or Teaching English as a Foreign Language; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching experience in relevant disciplines; |
|
(c) |
Relevant work/teaching experience in digital network marketing; and |
|
(d) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. |

(2) |
Applicants for the 'Certificate in Preparation for IELTS Academic' and 'Foundation Certificate in Workplace English (Listening & Speaking) I' courses who do not meet the criteria mentioned in (c) above may also apply. |

(3) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(4) |
Appointees may be required to perform duties at different IVDC sites such as Lai Chi Kok, Tuen Mun, Fanling, Ma On Shan, Tseung Kwan O, Chai Wan and etc. |
