Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To operate and maintain the PCs, servers and networking equipment; |
|
(b) |
To install and manage software / OS for PCs and servers; |
|
(c) |
To provide IT-related technical support for staff and external stakeholders when necessary; |
|
(d) |
To take charge of day-to-day system maintenance; |
|
(e) |
To assist in developing and maintaining the web-based applications; |
|
(f) |
To assist audiovisual equipment setup and operation; |
|
(g) |
To compile system reports, update operation documents and guidelines; |
|
(h) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores, software licenses and consumables; and |
|
(i) |
To assist in photo and video taking, production of DVD, graphic design and desktop publishing work as appropriate. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
(c) |
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and networking; |
|
(d) |
Experience in using Windows PC and Mac; |
|
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; |
|
(f) |
Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(g) |
Candidates with practical knowledge / skills in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: |
|
|
(i) |
Microsoft and Adobe software and application of other common computer / educational software; |
|
(ii) |
Computer graphics design and video editing; |
|
(iii) |
Development of web site programming using languages such as PHP, ASP and HTML; and |
|
(iv) |
Administration of Windows server and Linux server. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|

(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and/or outside office hours. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs. |
