|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide support in one or more of the following areas: |
|
|
(i) |
general and office administration |
|
|
(ii) |
finance, supplies and store administration |
|
|
(iii) |
logistics support for meetings, events and activities |
|
|
(iv) |
filing, data entry and analysis |
|
(b) |
To provide operational support for academic administration and curriculum development, including but not limited to consolidating stakeholders’ returns or reports, assisting in students’ Online Module Selection, and conducting simple system updates and testing; |
|
(c) |
To assist in documentation management, and the compilation of reports and statistics; |
|
(d) |
To assist in preparing templates and editing / formatting / typesetting documents; |
|
(e) |
To assist in system / website maintenance and updates; |
|
(f) |
To assist in providing secretarial support for various committees; and |
|
(g) |
To handle enquiries and draft simple correspondence. |

|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR |
|
|
(iii) |
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Maths Plus / Project Yi Jin; OR |
|
|
(iv) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR |
|
|
(v) |
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |

(b) |
Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and / or simple webpage maintenance; |
|
(c) |
Good command of Chinese and English, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua; |
|
(d) |
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; |
|
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
|
(f) |
Good work initiative and be customer-oriented. |

|
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / work on shift duty. |
