Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Physical Education / Sports / Sports Science with teaching experience in school setting or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
The ability to teach at least two sports; |
|
(c) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/ or industry experience; |
|
(d) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; |
|
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(f) |
Well-versed in e-learning. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
The appointee(s) will be assigned to work at Hong Kong Design Institute & Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee) and/or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Sha Tin), depending on operational needs. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
Applicants should state clearly which sport(s) they have taught / coached in the application. |
|
(5) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and in designated place as assigned. |
