Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree, in one of the following areas: Pet Care, Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, Biology, or equivalent, preferably with post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
(c) |
Preferably with good records of linkage with industry and / or professional bodies. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment in English. |
(3) |
Appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours and / or outside normal office hours. |
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
