Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas: |
|
(i) |
general administration and facilities management; |
|
(ii) |
planning and organising events; |
|
(iii) |
project administration and coordination; |
|
(iv) |
finance and supplies matters; and |
|
(v) |
human resources management; |
(b) |
To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical / supporting staff to ensure the smooth operation and administration of the operational unit; |
(c) |
To handle upskilling allowance application and reimbursement claims; |
(d) |
To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings; |
(e) |
To implement the quality policy of the operational unit; and |
(f) |
To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree, or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations; |
(c) |
Self-initiated, willing to meet challenges and able to work independently; |
(d) |
Good communication, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills; |
(e) |
Good problem solving and time management skills; and |
(f) |
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |
Notes: |
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours. |
(4) |
Appointee(s) may be posted to other working locations to meet the Council’s operational needs. |
