Specialism: Engineering and Mathematics |

|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties in Engineering and Mathematics subjects, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning, and assessment materials, and assist in project work; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in and arrange for campus projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions, and competitions. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering / Mathematics or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Preferably with relevant teaching and / or industry experience in guiding project-based learning; |
|
(c) |
Good understanding of IGCSE Mathematics and BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering and its QA system is an advantage; and |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. |
|
(3) |
The work location will be Tsing Yi and / or Tiu Keng Leng. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
|
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
