Major Duties: |
(a) |
To conduct lectures and workshops / tutorials of the assigned modules(s) including the preparation of teaching materials, supervision of students’ projects, marking student assessments and other academic activities; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment material; |
(d) |
To carry out departmental administrative duties as assigned by management; and |
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions and meetings. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Business Administration, Communication, Multimedia Design or a related discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience, preferably in the areas of public relations and/or advertising and/or multimedia communication; |
(c) |
Familiar with journalism and/or multimedia design would be an advantage; |
(d) |
Good understanding of VPET education; |
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua; and |
(f) |
A good team player with a proactive attitude. |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
The initial posting is in the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwun Tong). |
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in different locations, outside normal working hours and/or outside campus. |
(5) |
Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available. |
