Major Duties: |
(a) |
To work closely with all stakeholders, including both internal and external parties for the planning, management and execution of fashion events; |
(b) |
To solicit sponsorship for projects, functions and events; |
(c) |
To support administration and coordinating local, Mainland and international B2B fashion events and visits; |
(d) |
To assist in financial and supply matters, including procurement, budgeting, and sponsorship arrangements; |
(e) |
To assist in coordinating and executing promotional or marketing activities and event; |
(f) |
To conduct event evaluation and analysis; |
(g) |
To prepare proposals and reports for the event; and |
(h) |
To provide academic support to programme development, learning support to student projects, and to perform teaching duties where necessary. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Design or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant design-related teaching and/or industry experience in relevant fields; |
(c) |
Preferably with relevant experience in fashion design, event planning and project management, and/or processing documentation and government funding application and execution; |
(d) |
Good teaching, administrative, interpersonal and team building skills; |
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
(f) |
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; |
(g) |
High motivation for course / new project development; and |
(h) |
Records of linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
