Major Duties: |
(a) |
To facilitate engagement of all disciplines and Operational Units (OUs) in developing community projects under the VTC’s initiative – Community Connect with Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET); |
(b) |
To coordinate with disciplines, OUs and various community / industry partners in promoting VPET through exploring, coordinating and showcasing students’ outstanding projects; |
(c) |
To support the Central Community Engagement Unit to organise corporate / mass events under the initiative through liaising and fostering cooperation with all stakeholders; |
(d) |
To provide central support in coordinating disciplines / OUs for participating in community events through showcasing students’ works / projects; |
(e) |
To assist in exploring opportunities to showcase students’ projects and contributions to the community; |
(f) |
To provide secretariat / administrative support on the work of the initiative; |
(g) |
To supervise and coordinate the work of executive, clerical and supplies staff to ensure effective operation and management of the operational unit; and |
(h) |
To help implement the quality policy of the operational unit. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in project / event management, and/or organising and implementing learning projects / programmes and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; |
(c) |
Good communication, presentation, facilitation and problem-solving skills; |
(d) |
Strong initiative, mature, confident and a good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; |
(e) |
Familiar with digital skills and social media platforms; and |
(f) |
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both Chinese and English, preferably including Putonghua. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
