Major Duties: |
(a) |
To manage workshops / laboratories and prepare training materials; |
(b) |
To install, operate and perform maintenance of the apparatus and equipment in workshops / laboratories; |
(c) |
To provide technical support and assist in demonstration for teaching and learning activities; |
(d) |
To assist in procurement and inventory control of relevant workshops / laboratories; and |
(e) |
To maintain the safety and tidiness of the workshops / laboratories. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised Diploma or Higher Certificate in Jewellery Design, Jewellery Making or equivalent; |
(b) |
A least 2 years’ relevant work experience in jewellery industry; |
(c) |
Proven ability to operate and maintain various jewellery-making machines, apparatus and equipment; |
(d) |
Additional experience / knowledge in any of the following fields will be an advantage: |

(i) |
2D or 3D CAD modelling; |
|
(ii) |
Administer, operate and maintain PCs and network equipment; |
(e) |
Mature, independent, dynamic, self-motivated and an effective team player; and |
(f) |
Proficiency in both English and Chinese. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a trade test. |
