Major Duties: |
(a) |
To assist in the organisation, coordination and implementation of the Discipline projects and activities; |
(b) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; |
(c) |
To assist in preparing project proposals, financial reports, progress reports etc; |
(d) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(e) |
To assist in student and academic administration; |
(f) |
To assist in the design, development, updating, validation and accreditation of programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(g) |
To support the development of the e-learning platform and Discipline website, including the creation of interactive learning materials; |
(h) |
To coordinate development of promotional materials, publications, videos, websites and other digital contents; |
(i) |
To plan and execute marketing activities, such as digital marketing campaigns, advertising plans across multiple media and organising seminars; |
(j) |
To carry out various administrative duties; |
(k) |
To provide secretarial and administrative support to committees and boards; and |
(l) |
To maintain and strengthen networking with relevant stakeholders. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Applied Sciences or Health and Life Sciences, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
(c) |
Knowledge of computer programming or web development would be a strong advantage; |
(d) |
Mature, independent, dynamic, creative, self-motivated, be a good team player and able to work under pressure on tight schedule; and |
(e) |
Good records of linkage with the industry or with solid work experience would be an advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
