The post is for the Human Performance Laboratory, and/or Sports Therapy Centre of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sports and Recreation Management. |

Major Duties: |
(a) |
To assist in the installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of sports science and therapy equipment such as metabolic system, heart rate system, motion capture system, blood lactate, glucose, ketone system, electromyography system, ultrasonography system, shock wave and foot scanner etc; |
(b) |
To assist in the day-to-day operation and management of the laboratory or centre; |
(c) |
To provide technical support to staff in teaching and research related activities; |
(d) |
To assist academic staff in preparation, demonstration of laboratory or practical classes and projects; |
(e) |
To assist academic staff in designing and developing training materials, and conducting practical training or workshop(s); |
(f) |
To assist in the development and implementation of projects assigned; |
(g) |
To coordinate the procurement of consumables and equipment; |
(h) |
To assist in inventory estimate, control and storage; and |
(i) |
To support and coordinate the internship activity. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Sports Therapy, or related disciplines; |
(b) |
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relevant equipment; |
(c) |
Good negotiation, problem-solving, supervisory and interpersonal skills; and |
(d) |
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. |

Notes: |
(1) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. |
(2) |
The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
(3) |
The appointee will work on Chai Wan Campus. |
