The Vocational Training for People with Disabilities Office of the VTC oversees the operation of the Shine Skills Centre, Shine Vocational Assessment Service and Shine Technical Aids and Resource Centre. In a caring environment, these Shine operational units provide a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society. |

Major Duties: |
(a) |
To provide support in one or more of the following areas: |
|
(i) |
general administration and personnel; |
|
(ii) |
student affairs and student admissions; |
|
(iii) |
procurement, supplies and stores administration; |
|
(iv) |
promotion, publicity and committee work; and |
|
(v) |
secretarial and administrative support for senior level staff; |
(b) |
To handle enquiries and provide counter services; |
(c) |
To assist in providing secretarial support for meetings / boards of operational units; |
(d) |
To assist in managing marketing and promotional materials; |
(e) |
To assist in the stock-taking and maintenance of inventory record; and |
(f) |
To draft simple correspondence. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
(i) |
5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR |
|
(ii) |
A combination of results in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” or above in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; and the 5 subjects should include English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR |

(iii) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin; |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC's Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |
(b) |
Good word processing and typing skills in both English and Chinese, and proficiency in MS Office application software, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; |
(c) |
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; |
(d) |
Ability to work independently; and |
(e) |
Preferably with relevant work experience. |
