    Part-time (Daytime) Instructor (First Aid)
    Maritime Services Training Institute

    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching-related duties and deliver training courses;
    (b) To develop and update teaching materials, handouts for students, teachers’ guide and lesson plans;
    (c) To perform other teaching-related duties such as attending teaching-related meetings and maintaining the students’ attendance records; and
    (d) To ensure that the quality of training meets the institute’s expectations and examination syllabus set by the Marine Department.
       
    Requirements:
    (a) A relevant recognised higher diploma or equivalent;
    (b) At least 3 years’ relevant industry and/or teaching experience;
    (c) Good presentation skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and
    (d) A qualified Registered Nurse or First Aid Instructor of the Auxiliary Medical Services (AMS) / Red Cross / St. John Ambulance Association or equivalent, preferably with Certificate of Registration (Part I) issued by the Nursing Board of Hong Kong.
       
    Notes:
    (1) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a trade test.
    (2) The appointee(s) will be required to wear working gear provided by the Institute.
