Health and Life Sciences Discipline

Major Duties:
(a)	To deliver oral care workshops for the promotion of dental hygiene and preventive dental service;
(b)	To support the Senior Dental Officer and Dental Officer in daily operation of the Dental Care Training Centre;
(c)	To deliver outreach activities if needed; and
(d)	To supervise students’ trainings at the Dental Care Training Centre and outreach activities.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised Higher Diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent;
(b)	At least 3 years’ relevant experience;
(c)	Enrolled with the Dental Council of Hong Kong to practise as a Dental Hygienist;
(d)	Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese;
(e)	Good records of linkage with the dental industry; and
(f)	The ability to pass a trade test.

Notes:
(1)	The post is at the rank of Instructor.
(2)	Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the Requirements (a) above but possessing 8 years’ relevant work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualification Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification.
(3)	The work location is in IVE (Chai Wan).
(4)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and at different work locations as assigned.
