Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop course curriculum and teaching materials; |
(d)
|
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and |
(e)
|
To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, organizing seminars and talks for students and soliciting student scholarships. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree, or equivalent professional qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Relevant work experience in health care areas, e.g., health centres, residential care homes or hospitals; |
|
(d) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Good records of industry linkage in the healthcare field; and |
|
(f) |
Registration of a Health Worker issued by the Social Welfare Department would be an advantage. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
