Term Lecturer (Health Care)

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)	To develop course curriculum and teaching materials;
(d)	To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and
(e)	To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, organizing seminars and talks for students and soliciting student scholarships.

Requirements:
(a)	A relevant recognised degree, or equivalent professional qualification;
(b)	At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / industry experience;
(c)	Relevant work experience in health care areas, e.g., health centres, residential care homes or hospitals;
(d)	Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese;
(e)	Good records of industry linkage in the healthcare field; and
(f)	Registration of a Health Worker issued by the Social Welfare Department would be an advantage.

Notes:
(1)	Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(2)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
