Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties in Construction related modules and assist in supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To provide programme leadership for the collaborative Higher Diploma programme with overseas education institution including but not limited to liaison with stakeholders, promotion and admission, quality assurance and programme development; |
|
(d) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(e) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and |
|
(f) |
To oversee operation of projects assigned by the Head of Operation Unit and the Engineering Discipline. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Construction or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Preferably experience in working and communicating with overseas education institutions; and |
|
(c) |
Good communication, presentation and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(3) |
The post is time-limited in nature, initially up to 31 August 2027, and the continued need for the post is subject to review. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
