Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in the developing programme curriculum and preparation of teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(c) |
To translate teaching and learning packages; |
|
(d) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration, and coordinate promotional activities related to skills and VPET in secondary schools and relevant organisations; |
|
(e) |
To provide support in departmental activities, projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions, and participate in industrial attachments and related activities; and |
|
(f) |
To attend meetings when necessary. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Business Administration, English Studies and Communication or a related discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Relevant experience in scheduling and coordinating Workplace Learning Assessment (WLA) student assignments would be an advantage; |
|
(c) |
Preferably with relevant experience in e-commerce operations; |
|
(d) |
Good knowledge in translation or English writing and communication will be an advantage; |
|
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua; |
|
(f) |
A good team player with a proactive attitude; and |
|
(g) |
Solid experience in events coordination is an advantage. |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(2) |
The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in different locations, outside normal working hours and/or outside campus. |
|
(5) |
Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available. |
