Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide administrative support to the VTC Symphony Orchestra and VTC Chorus; |
|
(b) |
To liaise with the artistic director and Orchestra / Chorus members; |
|
(c) |
To plan rehearsal / audition schedules; |
|
(d) |
To be responsible for the promotion and publicity, and logistical arrangements of public performances; |
|
(e) |
To perform administrative and accounting duties; and |
|
(f) |
To undertake committee and administrative work in various committees, boards and meetings. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years' relevant work experience, preferably in relation to administration and promotion for art / musical performance; |
|
(c) |
Good knowledge of musical arts will be an advantage, but is not essential; |
|
(d) |
Strong customer management with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; |
|
(e) |
Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders; and |
|
(f) |
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |

The post is at the rank of Officer. |

(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours subject to rehearsal and performance schedule. |
