Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures and workshops / tutorials of the assigned module(s) including the preparation of teaching materials, supervision of students’ projects, marking student assessments and other academic activities; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and |
|
(e) |
To attend meetings when necessary. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
A recognised degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Arts, etc., preferably with a post-graduate qualification, and at least 5 years’ work experience in the aviation industry, including at least 3 years’ of teaching or management experience; OR |
|
(ii) |
A recognised Sub-degree / Professional Qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Arts, etc., and at least 8 years’ work experience in the aviation industry, including at least 3 years’ of teaching or management experience; OR |
|
(iii) |
Completed Secondary School Education*, and at least 10 years’ of relevant work experience in the aviation industry, including at least 3 years of teaching or management experience. |

Refers to Secondary 6 under the Hong Kong New Academic Structure (3-3-4 system) or Secondary 5 under the old academic structure (5-2-3 system). |
|
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua; |
|
(c) |
A good team player with a proactive attitude; |
|
(d) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in curriculum and new module development; and |
|
(e) |
Candidate(s) with good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies and/or good understanding of VPET education would be an advantage. |

|
(1) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in different locations, outside normal working hours and/or outside campus. |
|
(3) |
Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available. |
