Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To design and develop software applications to meet organisational needs, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements; |
|
(b) |
To test, debug, and maintain systems to ensure functionality, performance and reliability; and |
|
(c) |
To integrate new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
A recognised higher diploma in a relevant discipline, plus 1 year’s relevant work experience; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline, plus at least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
|
(Applicants with a recognised higher diploma in a relevant discipline but less experience may also apply.) |
|
(b) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
|
(c) |
Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
The appointees may be required to perform shift duties or work in irregular working hours and at different work locations on a need basis. |
|
(4) |
Appointees may be posted to any operational units of the VTC, for example a campus / centre, to carry out similar duties, and have different post titles which are subject to change at the Council’s discretion. |
