Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in designing and organizing student developmental programmes and career activities; |
|
(e) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and |
|
(f) |
To provide support to the boards / committees / working groups, including drafting papers, reports and serving as secretary. |

|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, Psychology or relevant discipline, or professional qualification, preferably with post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Relevant teaching and / or industry experience, preferably with experience in teaching and developing the generic skills modules, leading discipline projects, organising experiential learning programmes, adventure-based activities and training, student services or youth work would be an advantage; |
|
(c) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Well-versed in e-learning. |

The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to work in different locations and / or outside normal working hours. |
