Youth College (Project JUMP)

Work Location: Tuen Mun

Major Duties :
(a)	To perform teaching duties in all related Physical Education courses, including preparation of programme materials, curriculum development and student assessment;
(b)	To organise sports and recreational activities;
(c)	To carry out student and academic related duties; and
(d)	To plan, design and organise students’ activities and experiential learning programmes.

Requirements :
(a)	A relevant recognised degree in physical education / sports / sport science or equivalent, preferably with teaching practicum in post-graduate qualifications in Education;
(b)	The ability to teach a variety of sports and fitness activities, including but not limited to Physical Fitness, Yoga, Emerging Sports and Ball Games such as football, basketball, badminton, volleyball & table tennis;
(c)	Relevant teaching & related work experience is preferred;
(d)	Experience in teaching non-engaged youth is preferred; and
(e)	Good presentation, communication and facilitation skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Notes :
(1)	The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”
(2)	Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.
(3)	In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
