Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d)
|
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and |
(e)
|
To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, organizing seminars and talks for students and soliciting student scholarships. |
|
|
General Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree, or equivalent professional qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching and/or industry experience; and |
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. |

|
Additional Requirement for Physiotherapy: |
Qualification of registered Physiotherapist under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and valid practicing certificate issued by the relevant boards in Hong Kong. |
|
|
Additional Requirement for Occupational Therapy: |
Qualification of registered Occupational Therapist under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and valid practicing certificate issued by the relevant boards in Hong Kong. |
|
|
Additional Requirements for Sports Science: |
(a) |
Relevant work experience in rehabilitation, physical education, exercise science, and health areas; and |
(b)
|
Holding a valid physical fitness instructor (or other sports-related qualification) and a valid first aid certification are preferable. |

|
Notes: |
(1)
|
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Term Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
