|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To conduct practical training, including but not limited to the areas of volleyball, basketball, athletics (throwing event), badminton, rope jump, swimming, football, newly emerged sports, fitness and functional fitness; |
|
(c) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(d) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials, and assist in project work; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in campus projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions and competitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Physical Education / Sports / Sports Science or equivalent, preferably with a relevant post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Preferably with experience in teaching sub-diploma programmes, and strong commitment to serve the youth and motivate them to learn for success; |
|
(c) |
Proven records in coordination of student and academic administration for full-time and part-time programmes, curriculum development and handling student discipline would be an advantage; and |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

|
(1) |
The post is at the rank of "Teaching Associate". |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
|
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |

(5) |
Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a written assessment in English. |
