Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, and assist in supervision of students’ projects; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
(d) |
To participate in Campus projects and functions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching and / or industry experience; |
(c) |
Sound knowledge and experience in interior, materials and finishing; |
(d) |
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD and SketchUp; |
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills; |
(f) |
Good problem solving and time management skills; and |
(g) |
Be a good team player, able to work on own initiative and willing to meet challenges. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer, at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the Council’s operational need. |
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
(5) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment in English. |
