Term Data Analyst

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To regularly manage and update information related to manpower of various industries in the system of desk research; |
|
(b) |
To identify patterns and relationships in data related to manpower of various industries; |
|
(c) |
To set up parameters for data subsets within the system; |
|
(d) |
To support internal users to perform data searching in the system; |
|
(e) |
To assist team leader in liaising with the system developer about the user requirements; and |
|
(f) |
To provide support for video recording, website updating, and other administrative duties. |
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related disciplines; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
(c) |
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in using applications for handling and analysing data, such as Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL or equivalent; |
|
(d) |
Proficiency in English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Good interpersonal skills, self-initiative, logical and be a good team player; and ability to work under tight deadlines. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

The work location is in Cheung Sha Wan. Appointee(s) may be posted to other work locations to meet the Council’s operational needs. |
