Major Duties: |
(a) |
To provide support in technical setup, rehearsals, and operation of audio / video (AV) equipment for teaching and campus events; |
(b) |
To monitor and maintain servers and computer network; |
(c) |
To provide IT-related technical support for staff and / or students; |
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and control of the IT System and equipment stores, software licenses, inventory and consumables; |
(e) |
To take charge of day-to-day system maintenance; |
(f) |
To prepare relevant returns to ITO or other corresponding units; |
(g) |
To follow and execute Council’s IT policies, strategic initiatives, IT projects, and shadow IT system governance; |
(h) |
To monitor and alert the risk of cybersecurity and information security. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognized Diploma or Higher Certificate in a relevant discipline; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Good knowledge in Microsoft Server; |
(d) |
Good communication and problem solving skills and be a good team player; |
(e) |
Ability to work independently and proactively; |
(f) |
Holder of CCNA or MCSE: Server Infrastructure is preferred ; and |
(g) |
Experience and / or knowledge in one or more of the following area(s) would be an advantage: |

(i) |
Microsoft, Adobe and other common computer / educational software; |
|
(ii) |
Multimedia and IT related technical support; |
|
(iii) |
Video conference and live streaming technical support; |
|
(iv) |
LAN/WAN technology and TCP/IP. |
