    Officer (Advancement Services)
    Institutional Advancement Office

    The Institutional Advancement Office is established to build and strengthen VTC’s relationships with employers, industries, trade associations, philanthropists, charitable foundations, alumni and other stakeholders with a key role to foster collaborations with and solicit financial and in-kind support for student development and institutional advancement of the VTC.
     
    Major Duties:
    (a) To draft and execute donation proposals according to donors’ expectations, agreements, and VTC’s policies and regulations;
    (b) To assist in organising events, visits and outreach initiatives to cultivate funding support from industry partners, foundations and philanthropists;
    (c) To liaise with the internal and external stakeholders for the smooth implementation of donation projects and corporate activities;
    (d) To prepare and update comprehensive reports, statistical analyses & data management, and financial summaries for donation projects;
    (e) To assist in digitalisation initiatives, including the design of online forms, chatbots and workflow optimisation;
    (f) To support digital content marketing and publicity matters, including webpage updates, photo / video editing, and production of promotional collaterals (print and digital); and
    (g) To draft speeches, presentations and official correspondence, and undertake committee work.
       
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised degree with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in marketing, event / project management and / or fundraising activities;
    (b) A satisfactory level of written and spoken language proficiency in English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua;
    (c) Strong people skills to build the connection and strengthen the engagement with stakeholders;
    (d) Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge in photo and video editing software;
    (e) Good communication and presentation skills;
    (f) Proactive, good adaptability in a multi-facet work environment, strong sense of responsibility, and able to handle multiple tasks independently; and
    (g) Experience in VTC’s Student Records System and AI tools will be an advantage.
       
    Notes:
    (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
    (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
    (3) The appointee may be required to work on shift / outside normal office hours.
