Major Duties: |
(a) |
Audio and Video control during campus events, seminars, meetings and visits; |
(b) |
Hardware maintenance of AV equipment in Lecture Theatres, classrooms, and special rooms; |
(c) |
Technical setup and rehearsals during campus events; |
(d) |
Liaison with contractors on equipment installation, repairs and commissioning for campus venues; |
(e) |
General monitoring duties for accreditation exercises, forums and webinars; |
(f) |
Procurement of AV consumables, maintain and upkeep inventory in studios and workshops; |
(g) |
Servicing of equipment at Staff Production Workshop; |
(h) |
Responding to staff and student enquiries, and equipment loans at workshop; |
(i) |
Assist with fault-report and diagnostics in teaching / meeting venues; |
(j) |
Production services for photography coverage of campus events, and visits; |
(k) |
Portrait photography for staff photo album, special publicity photo projects, and industry executives (for dept. publications); and |
(l) |
Post-production editing. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Multimedia, IT or relevant discipline; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Good IT knowledge in administration and server based application setup; |
(d) |
Knowledge in system development on PHP, C#, APACHE and MySQL in Windows based environment would be an advantage; |
(e) |
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and |
(f) |
Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team member. |
