Opening Ceremony of “We Park” cum International Conference

The Opening Ceremony of “We Park” was held on 11 November at IVE (Sha Tin) with Mr Jeff SZE Chun-fai, Under Secretary for Education, as the Guest of Honour. With 13 outdoor play zones, the 15,000 square feet “We Park” is specifically set up to provide a play-oriented training venue for students of the Childcare, Elderly and Community Services Discipline to acquire practical skills and gain authentic experience of play education for children. Concurrently, a hybrid International Conference themed “Power of Play” and three exhibitions on “Children’s Play”, “Youth’s Play” and “Elderly’s Play” were also held to co-promote play education with international scholars and industry partners. The event was well attended by industry practitioners and students from around the world.
