Future Skills Community Event

Supported by the Education Bureau, the VTC staged the Future Skills Community Event during 9 and 11 December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to promote vocational and professional education and training (VPET).  An Opening Ceremony was held on 9 December with Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr CHEUK Wing-hing, as Guest of Honour.  

As one of the celebration events for the 25^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and a signature event to mark VTC’s 40^th Anniversary, the three-day event featured thematic exhibitions and seminars, skills demonstrations and industry sharing sessions to showcase the achievements of VTC students and the value of VPET.  A wide range of innovative and technology-integrated products designed by VTC teachers and students were on display, covering five thematic areas, namely Digital, Green, Health, Smart Living and Cultivating Talents, enabling visitors to further understand the contributions of VPET, as well as the diverse learning opportunities and pathways offered through VPET.
