Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To design, organise and deliver teaching training programmes; |
|
(d) |
To take charge of the development of an online Resources Sharing Platform for kindergartens; |
|
(e) |
To explore new opportunities and resources for the Child Education Centre for Teaching and Learning (CECTL), such as developing funding projects, training programs and consultancy as related to the industry; |
|
(f) |
To maintain close networking and liaison with the professional bodies in the field; |
|
(g) |
To take active role in planning, organisation, development and implementation of funding project and conduct projects; |
|
(h) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(i) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental / discipline projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and / or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Project management experience would be an advantage; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(2) |
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of “Term Assistant Lecturer” which is in the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
