Shine Skills Centre is a member of the VTC Group. In a caring environment, the Centre provides a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society. |

|
Major Duties: |
|
|
(a) |
To install, commission, operate and maintain PCs, servers and network equipment; |
|
|
(b) |
To set up and prepare for practical training sessions and assist in demonstration, practical classes and projects; |
|
|
(c) |
To provide IT-related technical support for staff and students; |
|
|
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores, software licenses and consumables; and |
|
|
(e) |
To assist in photo and video taking, photo and video editing, graphic design or other IT-related technical duties. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in relevant discipline, or equivalent; |
|
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
|
(c) |
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and networking; |
|
|
(d) |
Experience in using Windows PC and Mac would be an advantage; |
|
|
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; |
|
|
(f) |
Good interpersonal and communication skills; and |
|
|
(g) |
Candidates with knowledge / skills in the following areas would be an added advantage: |
|
|
|
(i) |
Proficiency in various Microsoft and Adobe software; |
|
|
|
(ii) |
Knowledge in computer graphic design and video editing; and |
|
|
|
(iii) |
Knowledge in audio visual system operation. |
|
|
|

Notes: |
|
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

|
(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside centres. |
|
|
(3) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
