Part 4 93 VPET SERVICES The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong Younger Members Section, The IET Student Network IVE (Haking Wong), IVE (Tsing Yi) and IVE (Chai Wan) 4.104 The IET Student Network IVE (Haking Wong), IVE (Tsing Yi) and IVE (Chai Wan) which is under Hong Kong Younger Members Section of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong, works closely with IVE in organising series of engineering events, including technical visits and membership talks for students of Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Hong Kong Young Members Section - Student Chapter, IVE (Tsing Yi) 4.105 Young Member Section (YMS) of the IMechE’s Hong Kong Branch is a non-profit group that works to promote the engineering profession and IMechE membership through organising visits and seminars, strengthening communities and campaigning for change. The YMS and Student Chapter aim to help engineers in developing, acquiring new skills and progressing towards gaining chartered status and improving the world through engineering. IoT Innovation and Technology Centre, IVE (Sha Tin) 4.106 With the aim of nurturing Internet of Things (IoT) talents through a diversified collaborative atmosphere, the IoT Innovation and Technology Centre provides students with an environment to apply IoT technology while encouraging multi-disciplinary project collaborations and academia-industry partnership at the same time. The Centre supports teaching and learning activities, industry collaborative applied research and multi-disciplinary collaborations for students. As a three-in-one IoT technology exchange platform, it focuses on four key areas for development, including Smart City, Property Technology, Smart Grid, and Health Technology.
