The Centre is sought after by the advertising, design, film, television, audio, and animation industries. It offers certified training programmes in “Logic Pro” and “Final Cut Pro” in Hong Kong. “Logic Pro” is the standard software for digital music and sound production in the current industry while “Final Cut Pro” is a software for digital video editing and production. ARRI Certified Film School, HKDI 4.85 The ARRI Certified Film School is an accreditation program initiated by ARRI, the largest manufacturer of professional motion picture equipment in the world. Having met the global standard requirements of the programme, HKDI has been awarded ARRI Certified Film School accreditation. From now on, HKDI can issue certificates to its qualified students and provide its students access to the online ARRI Academy training modules and materials. Centre for Communication Design, HKDI 4.86 The Centre for Communication Design is an applied research and consultancy hub dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in all areas of visual communication, including typography, information design, advertising, user experience design, illustration, brand communications, and printing and publishing. The Centre acts as a knowledge exchange platform among staff, students as well as industries and professional organisations to integrate practice, research, teaching and outreach activities.
