Part 5 184 VOCATIONAL TRAINING COUNCIL APPENDIX 27 SCHOOL OF GENERAL EDUCATION AND LANGUAGES BOARD OFTECHNOLOGICALAND HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE OF HONG KONG The School of General Education and Languages Board is responsible to the Academic Board for assuring the quality of the General Education (GE) Curriculum. The GE Curriculum covers Core Modules and Elective Modules. Terms of Reference To develop an overall strategy in offering the General Education Curriculum and conduct review on it; To advise the Academic Board on all matters relating to the General Education Curriculum; To review the appropriateness of the modules in the General Education Curriculum and to recommend directions for module development based on the latest strategy developed; To undertake an annual review of the General Education Curriculum to ensure quality of delivery and to recommend actions for modifying and developing each module; To assess the implementation of the improvement actions identified in the previous annual review report of each module; and To meet at least once in every semester and report to the Academic Board following each meeting.
