To keep under review the safety and health policies and procedures within VTC. To monitor the implementation of such policies and procedures, including receiving and reacting to as appropriate, regular feedback from local safety, health and environment committees. To recommend preventive and corrective actions with respect to the above and to assess the likely resource implication. To ensure that procedures and resources are in place to educate and promote the awareness of staff members, students and trainees on safety and health issues.
