Part 5 110 VOCATIONAL TRAINING COUNCIL APPENDIX 2 ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE Terms of Reference To formulate policy proposals on human resources and public relations issues for the consideration of the Council and the Standing Committee. To approve extension of service of non-directorate Teaching and Equivalent Administrative Staff beyond the normal retirement age. To advise and approve the structure of selection boards for different levels of appointments. To determine disciplinary penalties to be imposed for non-directorate staff of Senior Lecturer rank or equivalent and above, and to approve removal of such staff. To decide on appeals against disciplinary actions from staff below Senior Lecturer rank or equivalent. To set up sub-committees it considers necessary. Composition Six to ten Members, at least two-thirds of which must be Council Members. Membership should include one elected Staff Member of the VTC. Frequency of Meetings As and when required.
