Part 3 58 VOCATIONAL TRAINING COUNCIL The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships – Vocational Education Scholarship 3.98 The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) supports three outstanding VTC HD graduates to pursue undergraduate studies overseas under the disciplines of Design, Engineering (in the field of Aerospace / Marine / Environmental / Architecture studies), and Hospitality. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation fees, living expenses, air fares, and expenses on study trips / field trips for up to three academic years, capped at HK$500,000 per year. In addition to the overseas degree scholarships, the HKJC has also established a scholarship scheme to encourage 15 promising YC graduates of DVE to pursue HD studies at VTC. Each scholarship covers the full tuition fees capped at HK$66,400, per study year, for up to two years. HSBC Vocational Education Scholarship 3.99 The Scholarship recognises students’ excellence in academic achievement and whole person development, especially in their vocational aspirations and commitment to Hong Kong. It is granted to students taking HD or equivalent programmes with each awardee receiving a scholarship of HK$20,000. Wu Ho Loo Ning Scholarship 3.100 Funded by a donation from Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation, the scholarship scheme is set up to support deserving Youth College (International) graduates with all-rounded skills and academic achievement to further unleash their potential in the vocational and professional education and training (VPET) study pathway. Each scholarship valued at HK$140,000 will be awarded to support a graduate of Youth College (International) to pursue the VPET undergraduate programme within the normative study period at Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.
