Scholarships for New Students THEi’s Entrance Scholarship Scheme 3.81 THEi’s Entrance Scholarships are available for new students who enrol in designated degree programmes with outstanding results in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, or other sub-degree studies. The scheme offers scholarships of up to full scholarship for four consecutive years of studies (for Year 1 Entry) or HK$ 40,000 (for Year 2 & 3 Entry) Higher Diploma Outstanding Achievements Admission Scholarships 3.82 The Higher Diploma Outstanding Achievements Admission Scholarship gives recognition to VTC’s full-time students newly enrolled in HD programmes, who possess outstanding academic performance in secondary education. Chinese Manufacturers’Association of Hong Kong Testing and Certification Laboratories Admission Scholarship 3.83 The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong Industrial Development Foundation Limited is sponsoring an admission scholarship to encourage secondary school graduates with good academic performance to enrol in HD programmes relevant to the testing and certification industry. Bright Future Charitable Foundation – Admission Scholarship for Student-Athlete 3.84 The Admission Scholarship for Student-Athlete aims to support outstanding student-athletes to pursue Higher Diploma in VTC and Degree study at the THEi. The Scholarship will also elevate the awareness of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) as a valued choice of articulation for students of secondary schools, Youth College, VTC Higher Diploma or equivalent.
