The term of office is two years. 2. The maximum number of terms of office for elected/nominated member is three. 3. Two more external members may be invited to join the Board on ad personam basis at the invitation of the VETAB. 4. Trade/Workers’ union representatives may be included as co-opted members on a need basis. 5. For the Hospitality Discipline, the role of Discipline Advisory Board is taken up by the Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Board (HOTB) and the Chinese Culinary Institute Training Board (CCITB).
