Shine Technical Aids and Resource Centre
STARC continued to provide support for VTC SEN students for overcoming learning difficulties. Services include:
- 1. Providing technical aids, assessment and consultation on special education requirements;
- 2. Providing technical aids rental services, e.g. wheelchairs, assistive walking aids, desktop video magnifier and braille display, etc.;
- 3. Designing and adapting technical aids for individuals to facilitate their study and work, e.g. adjustable table, railing and ramp, etc.; or
- 4. Advice on examination arrangements will be given. .
In addition, the Centre also offers consultation services and supports to the people with disabilities who are seeking jobs.
