11 CREATIVE INSPIRATION 豐富創作靈感 Poyee Fu, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Design student, had her wish come true, thanks to the Bright Future Charitable Foundation Scholarship that made possible her trip to Spain, Belgium, Italy and France to experience the local lifestyles, enhance aesthetic appreciation and explore her creative path. “During the two-month journey, I paid visits to various exhibitions, museums and fine buildings there, such as a René Magritte exhibition at the Atomium in Brussels; the Picasso Museum and high fashion exhibition in Malaga as well as the churches in Venice, to fuel my artistic knowledge and design inspiration.” Deeply influenced by the master of surrealism René Magritte exhibition, Poyee has reviewed her artistic direction, broken out of her conservative and craftsmanship-oriented art approach and planned to showcase her aesthetic ideas in a surrealist manner in her graduation works. 就讀時裝設計(榮譽)文學士課程的傅寶儀獲得鵬程慈善基金獎學金，一償心願，走訪嚮往已久的西班牙、 比利時、意大利和法國，體驗當地生活文化，吸收藝術養分，探索自己的創作方向。 「在兩個月的旅程中，我參觀了各式各樣的展覽、博物館和造工細緻超凡的建築物，例如布魯塞爾原子球 塔的馬格利特畫展、馬拉加的畢加索博物館與高級時裝展覽、威尼斯的教堂等等，豐富了自己的藝術知識 和設計靈感。」寶儀深受比利時超現實主義大師馬格利特的畫展啟發，重新思考自己的創作方向，突破原 來比較保守和着重手工的創作模式，並打算在畢業作品中以超現實主義的表達手法來呈現自己的創作意 念， 令人期待。 Bright Future Charitable Foundation Scholarship was established through the generous donation of Dr Roy Chung, aimed at sponsoring outstanding VTC students from the design or engineering-related disciplines to complete their bachelor programmes at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi).
