Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and project work; and |
(d) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental / discipline projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Information Technology, Multimedia or equivalent, or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
A high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
(c) |
A good team player and able to work independently and work under pressure; |
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industrial experience would be an advantage; and |
(e) |
Preferred Qualifications (Mandarin Proficiency): |

(i) |
Native Mandarin speaker; or |
|
(ii) |
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher where the medium of instruction was Mandarin; or |
|
(ii) |
Have at least 3 years’ work experience in mainland China or other Mandarin-speaking countries / regions; or |
|
(iv) |
Have passed the Mandarin Proficiency Test with a score of at least Level 3B (三级乙等) or above. |

The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
